First of all really love the plugin. It has one downside though.
It seems like it’s picking an image in the post at random and sets that as featured.

For my website it’s quite essential that the first image is set as featured and not a random image in the post.

Do you have any idea how to fix this?

    Hi,

There’s not anything in the plugin code to use a random image, it simply ask to WordPress for the array of attached images and use always the first image of the returned array.

I did some testing anyway and I can’t replicate your issue in any of the sites where I’m using the plugin or in a fresh install of WP 4.4.2, so something in your site setup (a third-party plugin or a custom function in your theme) is causing your issue.

    Regards.

I tried to disable pretty much all plugins and tried it in the twentyfourteen theme and it still had the same problem.

It seems like it always takes the image called “imagename-1” , while sometimes “imagename-6”
is the first one. Do you think this could have any impact on the image it takes as first?
