Does not update automatically

    Hi Aleksandar,

    its me again and I have reinstalled the plugin because actually I really appreciate it. But unfortunately the plugin does not update the stock data automatically. Only when I click on “Fetch Stock Data Now”, it updates the stock data. Do you have any advice for me how to fix this problem?
    ( I have a second site (www.kunnskap.de) and there it works fine so far.)

    Hi @niclasto,

    Thank you for use of the Stock Ticker plugin!

    Let me try to help you troubleshoot issue. I’m not sure to which symbol you referring to because WMS symbol get updated in database (or you have run manual fetch just before I went to site to check issue :), regarding to my test – please check screenshots below:

    1. Please make sure you have all symbols used in stock tickers also within All Stock Symbols field in plugin settings
    2. From tickers remove comma at the end of list of symbols
    3. Do you have regular visits to that website, or it’s barely visited? Because automatic stock update is triggered by visitors visit of website
    4. Do you have set recommended cache timeout in plugin settings? If you cache for 5 minutes only, with couple visits within 5 minutes not all symbols will be fetched but only couple from the beginning of All Stock Symbols field.
