• First pass, I encountered an edge-case: my domain already had an existing SSL cert and I was marching to a new provider, which changed the public key of the server. (Post domain migration.)

Support lmk this was a new issue while making some work-around suggestions. In the meantime, I had configured SSL at the apache level and generated a new cert in the process from lets-encrypt. I had already purchased the PRO version of RSSSL so all I needed to do was upload the PRO plugin, input my license key, and it happily burbled away, setting all the secret squirrel things to their rightful place in the secure universe.

If you’re a parsimonious (cheap) bas**rd like me, and if you buy only one plug-in license, make sure it’s this one if you want to keep your site from getting pwned.

    Hi @mshallop,

I am sorry to read about your experiences. I am afraid that the experienced waiting time before we respond is related to timezone differences. It is currently 8:45 AM over here, which explains why we haven’t been responding for the last 10 hours. The same applies to your previous email, which was sent at 11:30 PM our time.

I understand that you are not satisfied with a general answer to your question about the SSL generation wizard. I will get back to your questions via email, hoping that we can still get you started with Really Simple SSL.

    Kind regards,
    Leon
