    Hello @tjohei,

would you open the [your-website]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=custom-css-js or the [your-website]/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=custom-css-js&language=css pages? Do you see normal admin pages, or do you get an error message similar to “Sorry, you’re not allowed …”? I’m trying to understand if only the menu is missing the links, but the pages actually exist, or if the pages don’t exist because of an issue with permissions.

I get the no permissions telling me i need higher permissions. How do i fix this? I am already admin.

    Hello @tjohei,

is this the admin account with which you’ve created the website, or is it an admin account created afterwards? Did you ever use a roles plugin similar to User Role Editor on this website? What hosting are you using?

I use the admin account that is made when creating wordpress, not used any roles plugin to my knowledge. Fastcomet is my hosting. This is the only plugin which do not work, all other plugins i have tried and are using works fine.

Would you try deactivating and deleting the plugin, then installing it again?

Yes i have done that 2 times, nothing changed. I also installed it on another wordpress installation to see if it would work but i get the same problem there also. Not sure what’s left to do? Maybe I’m cursed.

Is the other WordPress installation also hosted with FastComet? If you look in the /wp-content/mu-plugins/ folder is there any plugin installed there?

    Chris,

I’m afraid I don’t have an answer for your question.

I cannot replicate the issue on my test website. Also, among the users the issue comes up on such rare occasions, that I didn’t even get to gather enough information in order to get a clear picture. Of course, the gathered information comes only from answers from users, as I don’t get admin access to a website where this issue shows up.

I’m glad the fix with the Members plugin helped you. Could you make me a list of the installed plugins and must-use plugins on your website? Maybe that gives me more clues about the cause of the issue.
