    Please have a look at the “Usage” section of the description shown at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-geshi-highlight/

    This plugin renders its output when you or a user visits your website. It does not allow for syntax highlighting in the HTML or in the text editor. Nowhere this is claimed. Also, this is how most syntax highlighting approaches for WordPress work.
