Does not work – am I doing something wrong?

    Hi.
    I installed the plugin, activated it.
    I uploaded a double sized version of an image.jpg, named [email protected]
    I placed the image.jpg in a page, then published that page.
    Viewing it on a normal resolution screen (desktop) I see image.jpg, as expected.
    On a hires screen (Samsung Galaxy TabS or Galaxy A3) I expect to see [email protected] but I see the image.jpg.

    What’s going wrong here?

    Hi Wouter.
    Funny. I had the plugin deactivated since my post, and now it seems to work as I tested itjust now.
    Maybe it had to take a nap, just like me 😉

    Doesn’t seem to work with the website logo though …
    The logo was placed at the Customizer > Website-Information.
    I use the Tiny Framework Theme with a child theme …

    I just did some more extensive testing now, and I have to state: not working as expected. Please take a look here: http://t1p.de/izre
    The three images at the top (green, brown, blue logo) should all turn to @2x version in HiRes screens but only the brown one does.
    I uploaded the results on my devices and what I have in my media library, too.

    The logo in the head can only be seen in wider screens (like tablet computers) because there is a mobile menu in smaller screens. So to see the logo issue you’ll need a wide AND hi-res screen.

    Hello Wouter.
    Today I suspected the issue could be the autonomous decision of the browser, depending on size of image and screen so I added two test images to my testing page at http://t1p.de/izre (Any image@2x will show a text “2x” so we can distinguish them). But it still doesn’t do what I expect.
    Could you please have a look?
