I’m not sure why you would suggest this. From our description: “The limit is per product, not per the entire cart.”
For example, if your max limit is 2, buyers can add 2 of each product to the cart. So, the total items in the cart would be more than 2, but there can only be 2 of each product. So, the max limit of 2 applies per product, not per the entire cart. This is how the plugin works. I will add this expanded example to make that more clear in the description.
Update: Version 1.4 of this plugin adds the ability to set different quantity max limits for each individual product. I hope this helps.
