Does not work with EU Cookie Law plugin

    I cannot make the plugin ‘EU Cookie law’ work on my site as long as autoptimize is enabled. The ‘more information’ and the ‘Accept’ buttons of the displayed message of the EU Cookie Law plugin do not work.

    I have to disable ‘Optimize JavaScript Code’ in the settings of autoptimize to make it work. Unfortunately my site is not autoptimized then and gets lower marks in the Google pagespeed insights tests.

    What is strange is that I found the option to ‘Exclude scripts from Autoptimize’ in the plugin. I entered the two scripts I found in the EU Cookie Law folder there (eucookiesettings.js and scipts.js), but this did not do the trick yet. Is there any other script I should exclude?

    or any other solution except disabling the autoptimization for scripts?

    well, those two files depend on jquery.js being loaded, so you’ll probably see “jquery is not defined” in your browser’s error console? if so you could try excluding jquery as well or alternatively try with “force js in head”?
