have you cache plugin active? If yes, have you page cache active? I’m pretty sure that the issue is related with the message that does not appear.

Sadly I don’t think that’s the answer I don’t have an active cache plugin. The message does not appear as you say but is not only that, the users are not being subscribed to the waiting list. It is like the plugin is no actually reading the written email or something like that.
I don’t know if there are any compatibility issues but I am currently using VisualComposer and WooCommerce Single Product Page Builder if that helps.

for check if the issue is related with other plugins or with the theme you are using, my suggestion is to try the plugin with a wordpress theme like twenty and without third part plugins except WooCommerce.
Check if it works, if yes, step by step active other plugins and check if the issue occur.
I know this is a boring procedure, but at this moment is the only way.
