    Hi,

    Simple Author Box uses either the standard WordPress get_avatar() function to get the image, I don’t see why there would be issues with that. Or if you have set custom images for authors, the URL of those images are stored as author meta. So if your webP plugin changes the image extension to .webp, Simple Author Box might still be loading the old image URL (.jpg, .png) so you might need to update the Authors custom profile image so Simple Author Box knows what the new profile image URL is.
