I want to use this for my new site to load all my music i produce on the playlist as a catalog for people to browse my instrumentals. Say if i have 100 songs on the one playlist, and someone clicks on the Browse more songs link, it expands down to show other songs. does that mean its going to expand all the way down the page til it shows all 100 songs? or will it expand only so much and then just let the user scroll through?

Id hate to have 100 songs all load down the whole page and have a whole bunch of empty space. make sense? Thanks.

Hey Preston, yeah it would mean you could set say 5 tracks to show, then user clicks ‘show more’ and it will reveal all 100 songs in a long list. So… no scroll.

You could consider breaking the list up into several different albums or playlists? By genre perhaps?

ouch. i dont think it would be great to split them up on different playlists. i generally produce one genre/style of music, so it would be great to have a playlist that shows only 6-10 songs at a time where someone can scroll through. i wonder how difficult it would be to go into the code of the plugin and try to make it scroll. i may just try and code this audio playlist into wordpress, without it being a plugin. i did it before this audio player became a plugin. hmmmmmmmm….

I figured out how to make it scroll 😉

Awesome! Did you want to post your mod back here so others can also use it if they come across this thread? And maybe a link to see the example?

    Thanks! 🙂

will do, but im doing all this on a local server as of now. so i will have to post it later.

Also i have another question. You say in the PRO version you can do an “easy drag and drop” for changing the order of the songs. Does that mean in the lite version there is no possible way at all to change the order?

In Free version the tracks will order in the order you uploaded them. If you want to change the order you could a) delete them and upload again in the correct order. or b) Go into your sql database manually and change the order (it’s not hard, but many users don’t feel comfortable with this hence why I added drag n drop to the pro version)

    Hope that helps
