Does plugin update overwrite changes to templates/default-loop.php?

    After clicking an update in the plugins area for SU, it seemed to have overwritten changes I made to templates/default-loop.php

    Does this happen when you update plugin?

    Hi @atlas99,

    this is how the plugin update works. WordPress removes old files and downloads new.

    You should not edit templates within plugin folder. Copy them to a child theme folder instead. This article will explain the details.
