Does Shortcodes Have It’s Own Image Cache?

Does Shortcodes Ulitimate have it’s own image cache, and if so, how do I clear it?

I set up a slider with two images from the media library that were later replaced. Everywhere else on the site the images were updated, except the slider. I repeatedly erased that shortcode and replaced it. I cleared my browser caches, server caches and regenerated thumbnails.

I found if I changed the shortcode to another, like carousel, the images were correct, but if I went back to slider, they were wrong again. I finally got the new images in the slider by slightly modifying the display size in shortcodes. It’s a workaround, but not a fix. Any other solution to this? Is there a shortcodes cache I can clear? Thanks for any help.
