Does the Plugin use WordPress or System Cron

    Does the app use the WordPress Cron? We have disabled WordPress Cron and instead are using the System Cron as recommended by our hosting company, A2 Hosting. We obviously want to ensure the plugin continues to update the feed and serve our products to our Google Merchant Center and would appreciate it if you could let us know if the WordPress Cron is used or if we can leave this inactive and continue to rely on the System Cron. Thank you.

    Hello @jasonopland,

    Thank you for reaching out!

    Most of the background actions are done via the Action Scheduler, which in itself relies on WP-Cron, so it’s a bit challenging to give a straight yes or no answer. :‎)

    You can try to create a cron job (via your system cron) to run these actions via the WP CLI, however, that’s not something we can assist with I’m afraid.

    If you require the assistance of a developer, consider hiring a WooExpert.
