Does the plugin use wp_signon function to authenticate the user?

Hi, Does this pulgin use the wp_signon function to log the user into WP environment?
http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Function_Reference/wp_signonIf it doesn’t do that then the standard WordPress login hooks doesn’t get fired at login time.
