I want to arrange post and stuff on localhost before I moved it to live site.

    1. Should I resmush the images in localhost or on live site ?
    2. I saw new feature that we can smush on cron job, it’s just a scheduler things right ? I mean they use the same load on server, whether manually or via cron job right ? Because I read the news it said works in background without impacting user, doesn’t it the same if we manually optimize the image ?
    3. I saw generate statistics on optimized image in option menu, what is this feature ? Because I don’t see any difference in my interface, and where I can check this statistics ?
    4. What happen if we deactivated / delete resmush.it plugin ? Does the image broken ? Will it be using the optimized images? or will it be reverted back to the original and delete the optimized ?

Hope I got answer here, thank you for the amazing plugin.

    Hi @lucius100,

Thanks for using our plugin 🙂
    1. You can run the plugin on your localhost, it will work 🙂
    2. Cronjob configuration is adviced if you have a pretty big media library (> 1000 items). It will run automatically in background without affecting your visitor experience.
    3. Statistics is at the bottom left panel on the reSmush.it admin page. It shows you the file saved by resmush.it
    4. Is you deactivate reSmush.it, you won’t have any image broken, it will preserve optimized pictures.

Please rate our plugin if you liked it 🙂

    Best regards,
    Charles
