Does the shortcode work in widgets?

I wanted to ask this same question but then discovered that there is a dedicated widget! This is not mentioned (or not obvious) in the documentation.

When customising your theme, add a widget, and the Visual Form Builder Widget will be down the bottom of the available Widgets list.
