Hi there guys. One great advantage from your competitor, W3 Total Cache, is the native usage of opcache, which skyrocket performance improvement by speeding front and backend rendering with opcache. Does your plugin enable opcache too? In case it’s not, would you consider adding this feature so that the performance improvement is fully loaded?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Marcelo,

Yes, the plugin has the ability to automatically purge OPcache when the Cloudflare cache is purged. (in the Advanced tab) https://vertis.d.pr/i/Yi0L0x

    Thank you!

Hi there! Thanks for the answer. I already know the plugin has these settings. And that’s why I was wondering my original question: if it can empty opcache and objects… that’s because those caches were created by the plugin?

If so, then I definitely don’t need W3 Total Cache or Docket Cache anymore just because they can create opcache and object caches? Please confirm.

    Thanks!
    Marcelo

    Hello @kent-brockman,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

The Super Page Cache plugin does not directly make use of PHP OPcache for caching. However, it does have a feature that allows it to purge OPcache when Cloudflare cache is cleared, helping ensure that the latest content is served to users.

To clarify, while the plugin can trigger the purging of OPcache, it does not manage or create OPcache or object caches.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.

    Best regards,
