Hello Mark,
Thanks for reaching out regarding your FAQ page.
I see that the FAQ page uses Yoast FAQ block. Can you please check that you set the Page type to FAQ page in the schema tab of the Yoast SEO meta box below the default content editor when you edit that page?
By the way, we do not recommend using a third-party schema plugin since Yoast SEO plugin also outputs schema. You can review the specific schema outputted by the Yoast SEO plugin at https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/overview & https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/plugins/yoast-seo
Thank you. The page type wasn’t set to FAQ page so I changed it and retested. Unfortunately, that didn’t solve the issue. Maybe Yoast gets ignored with the other plugin activated?
Hi Mark,
Thanks for following up. Can you deactivate the other schema plugin temporarily and see if the issue persists?
Yes, disabling the other plugin worked. Thank you.
Hi,
Yes, it’s possible that other plugins outputting their own schema might clash with the schema output graph from the Yoast SEO plugin.
We do have integration guidelines outlined here in case other plugins want to ensure compatibility with our plugin – https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/integration-guidelines
We’ll be closing this thread in order to keep the forum overview. Thanks!
