Does your plugin control PHP mail from other plugins?

    If other plugins are coded to call PHP’s mail() function directly, will that bypass the settings & use of your plugin? Test email works perfectly, but I’m not receiving email from other plugins (forums, comment subscription, etc.) so I suspect they are calling PHP mail() directly.

    Would you suggest changing over to SMTP or trying to get the PHP mail() function working?
