    Does your plugin slow down websites?

    I ran several performance tests using webpagetest.org and it did not appear to impact our website’s performance.

    Can you add this question to your FAQ section?

    WP Crontrol is a lightweight plugin, for example it doesn’t have any effect on the front end and it only loads its small JavaScript and CSS files when you’re using the cron event management screens in the admin area.

    Technically it does have an impact on performance because it needs to hook into actions and filters in WordPress just like any other plugin, but its impact should be about as minimal as it gets.

    But in general, no, WP Crontrol doesn’t slow down your website.
