So I’ve been noticing that Updraft doesn’t seem to work properly as intended on one of my sites, I have the following settings configured: https://imgur.com/9sGGU56

As this is a webshop I need a lot of database backups and file backups, but for some reason I noticed that it doesn’t back up at all, only the ones I manually backed up are present: https://imgur.com/a/Ix9VyhW

I’ve already reset, relinked, reinstalled the plugin but nothing seems to work.

Could someone perhaps provide me some insight into solving this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the latest backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

I think I found the problem, an optimisation plugin disabled the plugin’s access to the front-end and I think updraft uses something like if the site is visited then it is triggered. I disabled that feature and it does seem to back up again now.

This was a feature from Swift Performance that I did enable myself as I wanted to optimise the way all the plugins worked and didn’t think updraft required front-end access. Guess I was wrong.

I do think everything is working as should now though!

    Hi,

WP’s scheduling engine relies on visits to a website, to work. So presumably whatever you had activated disabled the scheduling engine itself.

Yep I do think that was the case, didn’t realise it until having the setup done on another site!

    Thanks for the information.
