    Types is not a plugin that creates Templates.

    It saves you the time and hassle to register Content with PHP, create relationships, and provides ShortCodes to display them on your already existing Post Body, or with the API in your templates.

    It’s as well advertised as such.

    It is not true that you have to set the Date Format each time, since it always defaults to “Custom”, when you open the GUI for the ShortCode, and that “Custom” Setting inherits always the setting you have in Dashboard > General > Date Format.

    Since Types is not a template builder, it is expected that you have to insert the Field in each Post Body.
    This is how the plugin is advertised and intended to work.

    I apologise that this did not match your expectations.
