Currently, LearnPress requires admin approval for the “Become a teacher” functionality even when all the necessary conditions are met. This design ensures that administrators maintain control over the number and quality of instructors on the site.
By reviewing and approving each request manually, administrators can verify the qualifications of potential teachers and maintain the overall standards of the platform.

Why not leave it to the discretion of the site owners? so that you can choose
Besides, this mechanism already works when selecting a new user in the field (by default) -LP Instructor
But unfortunately then all users become instructors
