    Have installed the plugin and connected to search console, analytics and page speed no problem, allowed all access requested.

    The dashboard shows no data, all are ‘Gathering Data’ for over 24 hours.

    I checked the tracking code was being inserted, there is code on the page source, I have obfuscated:

    <script type=’text/javascript’>
    window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
    gtag(‘js’, new Date());
    gtag(‘config’, ‘UA-********-*’, {“anonymize_ip”:true,”optimize_id”:”***-*******”} );
    </script>

    I have used some other external checkers who say universal anaylitcs found.

    Is there a step I am missing? I have disabled wordfence, uninstalled and re-installed site kit but to no avail

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @jjones1978 I do see Site Kit has inserted the snippet for your Analytics property. Can you inform me if you had Site Kit setup previously on that site?

    If you did have Analytics setup previously, can you check whether there are reports from your Analytics dashboard directly at https://analytics.google.com?

    Hi, no i installed Site Kit as i thought it would install the tracking code for me, I haven’t installed analytics through any other plugin or theme option.

    Analytics is not registering any traffic at all.

    @jjones1978 Sometimes if you are just connecting the services to Site Kit there may not be data flowing within that exact property yet. If you checked the report from your Analytics dashboard directly it is possible there may not be data flowing within that exact property thus taking some time, possibly a few days to appear in Site Kit dashboard. It may take longer if it’s a brand new site and the data is not available yet.

    Please be advised reinstalling and installing Site Kit can restart the process.

    Thank you for your help with this.

    Seems strange it would take such a long time to register, normally with other plugins you would definitely see traffic after a few hours and certainly the current active users.

    Two other things, there is a red dot on the site kit menu link in the admin system with 1 in it but no information about what that is for.

    secondly, if I look at site kit / settings / analytics. The configuration is ip’s not being anonymised.

    Are there any other configurations I should be aware of?

    @jjones1978 You are welcome to touch base with us if you are still unable to view any data after that period of time. We are currently investigating the issue you mentioned here and will provide any updates to you when it is available.

    IP Anonymization setting is toggled on by default. The message displays whens the setting is off.

    @jjones1978 we have released the latest version 1.13.0 that has a fix for the notification (red dot) issue. Could you update and let us know if it is resolved for you?
