Doesn’t remove items from top admin bar

    I installed this plugin to remove many of the items on the top admin bar. So many plugin devs load up this top bar so I can’t get to the things I want to use up there. [this should be a core feature: To remove or add anyting to the top admin bar].

    I expanded the Admin Bar Back end Options and found the items I want to remove from the top bar in the dashboard. I checked the boxes and clicked the Update Options button. No change. I cleared the cache. No change.

    How can I selectively remove some of the things from the admin top bar?
