Does this plugin resize the images uploaded using buddypress activity plus. I used this plugin but it only has the option of resizing images uploaded directly or indirectly to media library. BP Activity Plus doesn’t save images in the media library.

Nope, it will only resize images that end up in the media library currently. That’s on the roadmap though: https://trello.com/b/Fp81dWof/ewww-image-optimizer
