So you should consider AO (and similar plugins) like a computer; you can feel lucky and just try to plug and play it, but chances are something breaks in the process. If that is the case (as “site crash” implies), then you’ll have to have a look at the manual (the AO FAQ in this case, which has _a lot_ of troubleshooting info) and check some controls (the settings page). and if you’ve done that and are still not able to get it working, you could always ask for support on the plugin’s forum (which I’m told is followed up closely and support isn’t half bad 😉 ).
