The in5 embed will only work with WordPress’ official editors (classic and block).
Noted here: https://ajar.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/26000036714-is-the-in5-embed-plugin-compatible-with-wordpress-editor-plugins-e-g-elementor-
The in5 embed plugin will not work with 3rd-party editors. There’s no way there we can account for the nuances of all the other plugins available (there are many out there).
If you’re having an issue with either the WP classic or the WP block editor, I’m happy to troubleshoot those.
But if you’re using a different editor, please reconsider your review.
If you can help me get it working, I will most certainly change my review. I had TinyMCE and TablePress and Advanced Image Styles and AddToAny Share Buttons installed, so I disabled them, and logged out and then logged back in again, but still can’t see the button for in5 in either block or classic. This is what I see.
Thanks for the screenshot.
This still looks non-standard to me. For instance, where’s your Add Media button?
The in5 button appears next to that:

P.S If your screenshot is from a Classic block in the block editor, then the way to add in5 content is by adding an in5 block:
