Did you also install the points plugin cubepoints. If not it will show error.
No, only I installed this plugin “buddypress-gifts-latest 2014” and I followed the instructions from the “readme file”.

When you go to the plugins page you will have under each plugin an option to enable or disable the plugin.
That is already made, both plugins are enabled.
I got a new page corresponding Gifts (that’s your plugin) with the message “You still don’t have any gift yet!”, but there’s no way to choose imagen gifts, they’re missing at all the site.
CubePoint plugin is enabled too, but I don’t really know if I have to active any option, then it seems nothing happened.
Ok now I got it. You are using it for the first time thats why you are so confused. You need to select a member first to whom you want to send the gift and visit the member page. Once you are in his page you will see a menu item gift. If you click on that you will see the gifts. From there you can send the gifts.

only one question more, then I was proving its work, and I’ve seen in the gift page only appear the 2 first gifts, in spite of more gifts have been sent and you can check it in the page activity, at the same time, I’ve seen there are other members which gift page is empty in spite of gift has been sent.
do you know why could be the reason about this?

I’ve guessed about this issue, that a little time is needed to update the gift page.

I would love a small bit of customization to the plugin.
I want my members to send gifts as is currently but they should have certain points for each gift they send .
I as the admin will award points to members based on my own criteria as for now (no specific basis for awarding points)
So if you do not have certain points for a certain gift , you will not be able to send the gift .
Do you think thats possible ?
Point system already exist. If you click on each gift when you are logged into admin you will have an option to allot points for each gift. So if a user does not have that many points he will not be able to send that particular gift. And for awarding points to your user you already have cubepoints and cubepoint buddypress integration plugin.
