Well, I have found the issue: big conflict with “Jetpack by WordPress.com”
Seems like Yoast SlideShare Plugin complitely fails!!

Was there any solution to this in the meantime? The plugin still doesn’t work…

I got both Jetpack and the Slideshare ([embed plugin) working:
1. Activate both plugins
2. Go to Jetpack> Settings >
3. Now deactivate Shortcode Embeds
This one is the killer!!
