Full bleed images need to be at least 400 wide. The ones you appear to be using are only 210 wide.

However, your plugin says differently in its settings:
“This is the full path to your default Facebook thumb (Ideally 200 x 200px. Go here for more information.)
(Note: The image shown below is scaled down. The real dimensions are actually 210 x 210)”

The info in the plugin is Facebook specific, but it’s a good point and I’ll update the language to reflect.

Also FYI just tested again for the heck of it, and the G+ full image still shows without drama.
Things are better now. The default image is coming up as the first thumbnail option in G+. However, you can still click and choose another thumbnail when you share in G+. Can this be avoided?

I can’t think of a single reason it would do that, unless there were multiple instances of og:image (which you don’t appear to have.)
It works on all the sites I’ve tested it on.
