Doesn’t work on video post format

    Hi,

    The share buttons stop showing icons, thus links, when on different post formats (such as video). On normal posts, everything works. However, on new video posts, or when I change post format from standard to video, the share buttons stop showing icons thus the link. Also, as you can notice, the floating interface completely disappears.

    The HTML for the share icons is different at custom posts and for those at the pages where icons are looking fine. You can compare. Is there any plugin which is modifying the HTML of share icons?

    You are right. Normal posts show icons perfectly, but in custom post formats, something is messing with HTML.

    And, no, not the one I know of. I tried deactivating catching plugins, but no luck.

    Can you try keeping only this plugin active just to check if this makes any difference and if some other plugin is causing conflict?

    I just did. No change. You can check as well.

    I think it may have something to do with the theme. What do you think?

    You can try switching to any of the default themes of WordPress and see if it helps.
