Domain Mapping https SSL Subdomains to One IP
-
Several clients in my multisite install need secure pages for payments being taken through Gravity Forms. After reading teeray’s post at http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/multisite-domain-mapping-ssl?replies=21, I was hoping I could purchase an SSL certificate for each subdomain and my primary domain, map the domains using http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/, and then install and configure http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wordpress-https/. However when I try to do this, I am still getting the dreaded “red x” because my url for my mapped subdomain does not match the url for my primary domain on my IP.
Is there a way to map multiple secure subdomains to one IP? On a typical single install of WordPress each of my sites would have its own IP so the SSL certificate would not be an issue, but I am at a loss in this case.
