    Hello,

Last week I installed and configured the Domain Mapping plugin for WordPress. At the moment it’s all set up, and seems to be running fine. I have one problem: I can’t get my domain to work. My hostingprovider (TransIP) tells me it’s not possible to use domainmapping on their platform. I think this is strange, because I only need to make some DNS-changes and it has nothing to do with hosting (only DNS). Correct me if I’m wrong 😉

I want to map en.joelvandaalen.nl to blog.joelvandaalen.com. I Changed all A records of joelvandaalen.com to the IP-adres of my domain joelvandaalen.nl. Normally a DNS-change takes around 4-24 hours, but my domain (blog.)joelvandaalen.com still redirects to the default reserved-page from TransIP.

What could be the problem here?

    Thanks in advance!
    Joël van Daalen

You need to park the mapped domain (called domain alias in some control panels) onto your WP install in your web account control panel.
