Domain mapping plugin activated, have parked my domain I want mapped (domain.com) thru cpanel, have entered my shared IP in wp domain mapping page, entered domain name as domain.com, path as /testsite.bizwebx.com
Wait, where are you putting in that Path and why?
The domain mapping page has a field for site ID, not path.

Hi Mika,
Thanks for your response.
Sorry, I didn’t explain properly –
To add my first mapped domain site, I first went to >Network>Add Site.
Under Site id: I enter in subdomain portion “testsite”, (Subdomain is my chose option for multisite).
Under Network>Settings>Domains: I enter:
– Site id as 2 (its my second site as confirmed from >Network>Sites.
– Domain as domain.com
– primary – checked
Saved
when I see under >Network>Sites
It shows in table as second site: domain.com
I open domain.com (edit) – it shows :
On Top: Edit Site: domain.com/testsite.bizwebx.com
InfoUserSettingsThemes:
Doman: domain.com
Path: /testsite.bizwebx.com
“Update Siteurl and home as well” is check (or ticked).
(bizwebx.com- is my root site).
Now under >network>Sites the table shows in second row:
Domain: domain.com
mapping: domain.com
I guess something is wrong…perhaps very basic..
I do hope I’ve done something correct so far !
Pl guide. 🙂
Thanks so much for reading thru 🙂
Best
On Network>Add Site you mean you put in testsite for “Site Address” (if it actually says SiteID, we have a problem).
Site id as 2 (its my second site as confirmed from >Network>Sites.
Confirmed how? The numbers aren’t listed.
Go to
/wp-admin/network/settings.php?page=dm_domains_admin
You should see something like this:

Is that what you have?

Yes, when I open the link (/wp-admin/network/settings.php?page=dm_domains_admin):
– I see the table the way its in ur image – I’ve only one site listed and under first column “SiteID”, it shows 2. Under Primary, it shows yes.
And earlier, under Network>Add Site,
In Site Address: I had gotten option to enter a subdomain. So I’d entered my subdomain, testsite.bizwebx.com
And I just saw, Under: /wp-admin/my-sites.php, it only shows my main (root) site. So my added mapped domain site (domain.com), does’nt show up in this list.
Does it give a clue ?
Or something else is wrong here in my settings..?
Thanks for your support.
Best.
[No bumping, thank you.]

Did you put in the whole subdomain, or just ‘testsite’ (this matters a LOT).
And I just saw, Under: /wp-admin/my-sites.php, it only shows my main (root) site. So my added mapped domain site (domain.com), does’nt show up in this list.
It should show your subdomain OR the mapped site actually… Can you share a screenshot?

Thanks Mika.
I entered only sub-domain (testsite)as rest of it is already present outside the entryfield as .bizwebx.com
Screenshots – posted both screenshots one which shows table of domain mapping status, and other of all network sites. (http://bizwebx.com/test-page)
Also, in mapping screenshot, it is showing under column mapping the same domain that needs to mapped. Should it be like this ?
Besides, Is there anything else that needs to be checked ?
I hope it gets sorted out..
pl take a look.
Thanks
Removed Kevin2012’s post (please make your owwwwn topic 😉 )
I cannot read those screenshots, they’re too small, man.
