    I have installed a multisite network on domain1.at but final step i dont get to work.

    Hello i try now some days and some nights to install a wordpress multisite on plesk.

    I have WordPress Network installed on domain1.at (/httpdocs) – with domain mapping (www.domain1.at and domain1.at)

    i have a subdomain ww2.domain1.at (/httpdocs) with no domain mapping on i come to the dashboard and website! works fine. i have the wesite (AT) and the website (EU) both has a dashboard in the network!

    now i have made a domainmapping for ww2.domain1.at (with: http://www.domain2.eu and domain2.eu) ( i want that it shows the EU domain!) therefore i maid an alias domain from domain2.eu to domain1.at! But now i can’t open the dashboard of site (EU) and the Site domain2.eu shows domain1.at instead of content of ww2.domain1.at with the domain2.eu!

    On this link you find last step, with three posibilities:

    I try to do the first possibility from the last step of the Plesk helping guide!
    Would like top Create domain alias to link the content to the domain2.eu page from ww2.domain1.at but it dont work.! it takes the wrong website! the domain1.at) not the ( ww2.domain1.at) because i only can chose alias from domain2.eu to domain1.at! not the subdomain!

    But maybe thats not the right way?

    i have also done a part of the second possibility (change the root of ww2.domain1.at to /httpdocs (only this way i get the dashboard and site working on ww2.domain1.at) maybe this conflicts anything?

    or is possibility 2 the right for my sitaution?

    i now have 95% but last 5% i dont get to work..
    I would like to start building my networks sites 😉

    What is the final step you are referring to?

    therefore i maid an alias domain from domain2.eu to domain1.at!

    Where did you do that?

    I did this domain alis in my personal account on my hosttech server. And its installed in the plesk plattform of the server!

    I try to make two final domains in the network. Domain1.at and domain2.eu

    Ww2.domain1.at should be shown as domain2.eu

    I did this domain alis in my personal account on my hosttech server.

    For this to take effect the web server needs to be restarted. Plesk normally does that on config changes but sometimes the restart does not happen. Contact your hosting support to see if they will restart the web server for you.

    My Hoster say to me that every 600s the system starts new.

    So this shouldn’t be the problem.

    Status : All 3 Domains redirect to domain1.at to the (AT) site.

    Correct would be: if ww2.domain1.at and domain2.eu show the Content of Site (EU – installed on WordPress Network.) with visible domain tlace.eu

    maybe it would help when i give you access to the network? Its just a test network.

    This wouldn’t help. It’s something in your web server configuration. Perhaps the domain alias is doing a redirect to the target domain instead of adding it to the list of domains served by that host (ie. your WP install).
