    Hi all.

Sorry if this topic exists but I couldn’t find it.

I have a web with this domain name “diseñosasian.com” but in WordPress config, the real name is xn--diseosasian-4db.com so I have a one doubt…
For Google and Yoast (SEO), this name will be automatic convert to “diseñosasian.com” or will still as xn--diseosasian-4db.com and “it will make a bad SEO reference”?

    In assistant configuration show this:
    Site type
What does the site http://xn--diseosasian-4db.com represent?

    Thanks in advanced.
    Best regards.

It wouldn’t be possible to use a domain name with the special character that you mentioned. Since the WordPress Address URL is as such, it wouldn’t make for the best site name, so it would be good for you to have a clearer website name.

    Thanks for your answer.

Unfortunately, my client refuses to changes the domain name.
In this situation, my question is:
Yoast can translate the name internally when users search “diseñosasian.com”?

    Thanks

No, Yoast SEO is unable to translate the domain name of a website.

Then it’s impossible to make SEO to a domain with Ñ?

Unfortunately, we are not familiar with any domain that includes a special character like Ñ. As far as we know that a domain cannot include any types of special character. So, we’re not sure how do you have the Ñ special character in your domain name.
