Donate Plus IPN URL Issue

    I had the Donate Plus plugin working fine on our test server, but when I moved it to the live version on Go Daddy… I am now unable to get the IPN Notifications to work properly…. It seems the instant Payment Notifcation URL is listed incorrectly now, and I cannot figure out how to change it. I’ve reinstalled the plugin multiple times to no avail.

    The Instant Payment Notification URL on the Donate Plus plugin settings says: D:\Hosting\8980967\html\wp-content\plugins\donate-plus/paypal.php

    That is not a valid IPN to be using… it should be my domain name… but I cannot seem to fix it.

    Any advice!?!??

    I had the same problem too. I think it’s because it’s running a Windows Server. Is yours?

    Here’s how I fixed it…

    In the donate-plus.php there are two instances of this…
    str_replace(ABSPATH, trailingslashit(get_option('siteurl')), dirname(__FILE__)).'/paypal.php'

    Replace the first so it looks something like this…
    <?php _e('http://www.WEBSITE.COM/wp-content/plugins/donate-plus/paypal.php','dplus');?>

    The second should be…
    $notify = 'http://www.WEBSITE.COM/wp-content/plugins/donate-plus/paypal.php';
