I might need a bit more information in order to understand your problem. But here’s a few things to try first:
1) Make sure you are updated to the latest version of Give, version 1.8.16
2) Double-check that all your donations that are actually completed are marked as “Complete” not “Pending”. Pending donations do not count toward your goal.
3) Go to “Donations > Reports” and click the “Refresh Reports” button.
4) Go to “Donations > Tools > Data” and use the “Recalculate all donations and donor data” tool; and the “Recalculate all forms” tool.
Also, did you delete any donations or delete Give forms ever? The more I understand your data and form/setting activity the better.

steps 1,2 and 3 done ok
step 4 completely erased amounts in progress bar. the Income field in “All forms” was reset to 0 (We have only 1 form
I did delete 1 form and donations in the current form, donations done in the test mode
Urgent to correct this since the fundraising is tomorrow; Giving Tuesday

See AMIBA.net – all of my donation forms have billing info being required to be entered twice? If you click donate now, the form shows billing information 2 times and both must be entered to be successful. Help!

Working correctly now although initial donations are not taken into account in the total and progress bar displayed. As I wrote previously, I did delete 1 form and donations in the current form, donations done in the test mode.
If something is deleted then naturally it can’t show up in the goal. If you want to get the goal back up to where you’d like it to be, then do an Offline Donation via the form for the difference and manually set it to “Complete” and then going forward you’ll be all set.
