Donation problem
-
Hello I just noticed that after update when I go on website http://ambajiusa.org the Donation on sidebar says “Please log in in order to complete your donation.” I want it where Visitor do not have register to donate.
Where can I change that setting as was not like that before update

Go into your form edit screen, and in the “Display Options” tab you’ll see an option for “Regitration/Login” set that to None.
Perhaps that field didn’t convert correctly during the update, apologies for that, but once you set it you’ll be fine.
Thanks!
@govpatel – Did you update to version 1.8.1?
Thank You both for help I updated my form and it worked.
Glad to hear!

Hi there!
I am just wondering why some donations are pending, even though they were done 3 days ago and why others which i never used when they were in test mode are completed but i never saw the funds. can you help me out here please. Most likely those donors went to PayPal.com and never actually finished their donation. this is one of the downsides of pushing donors offsite to complete their donation.
If it remains “Pending” for 7 days, Give automatically changes the status to “Abandoned”.
Thanks!
I see you also mentioned “Test Mode”. Live donations are not possible during Test Mode. Those will say they are “Complete” because they were completed at the “sandbox” version of PayPal.com. This is to help you test Give completely before going live.
You can read more about that here:
http://docs.givewp.com/test-modeThanks!
how do you avoid pushing them offline then?
With a premium gateway that allows you to take credit cards on your site directly (with an SSL certificate). These are our Premium Gateways here:

Hello,
I just updated the Give Donation plugin and now our website donation form is giving the following message “Please log in in order to complete your donation”. I tried what you suggested in the earlier request but my settings were already on “None”. Can you help me figure out how to fix this? Our website is https://collegetracksusa.org/donate/Thanks
Hi @jordene
Here’s my suggestion:
1) Delete all cached data you have for your site. Through whatever caching plugin you have, or server caching, or deactivate Cloudflare — clear and deactivate ALL caching
2) If you didn’t see the “Upgrade donor info” alert on your site, then please navigate to this URL for YOUR website: yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=give-upgrades&give-upgrade=give_v18_upgrades_form_metadata — That will force the upgrade process to happen.
3) Double-check your form and make sure it’s still set to “None”. Then check it on the front-end — it should be fine.
4) Reactivate your caching plugins/services
Let me know how that goes.
Hi Matt,
Thank you so much for responding so quickly. So I know how to clear the cache, but how do I find and deactivate all caching?I did get my donate page to work, but I also have a donate section on our home page that is still not responsive. I will work on doing the other items you suggested.
Also, I did get a notice that the Give forms needs updating, but when I click on the link in wpadmin it dosen’t go anywhere.
Thanks.
Matt,
All my donation pages now work. Thank you again.-
