Donations

Hi Peter:

I assume there are logistics issues involved in accepting donations via routes other than PayPal that I’m not aware of? But, sadly, I’m not going to sign up for PayPal membership as the current donation form requires; and therefore I cannot send you anything, despite wanting to.

It would be good if in some future version you’d find a way to accept payment/donations that does not involve the donor having to sign up to anything, but merely -and securely!- parting with a credit card number.

Meanwhile: textareas on data forms for text fields is brilliant. I’d been thinking of asking for it, but it turns out I didn’t need to! (Future version request: any chance of some basic formatting buttons, like bold/italic/link, so that I don’t have to break into raw html all the time!? It would be really handy if it could detect, say, the presence of TinyMCE and use it for formatting purposes, but at a minimum, a bit of ‘B – I – U – Link’ would be very handy :-))

Finally: the fact that, when you click to add media to a column designated as Audio type, the media library now filters and displays only suitable audio files is a stroke of genius. As one who has accidentally managed to add TXT and JPG files to a column that was intended only to hold audio, this subtle change is a real error-correcting time-saver.
