    When the developer releases two updates back-to-back that renders the plugin unusable, there’s no reason for confusion on why it might get a low rating.

    Stability/Functionality > Cosmetics

    *I’ve used the plugin for some time but either the recent bugs I would suggest looking into another solution with a better track record for stability.

    PS – There are no hosting or plugin conflicts. Just a broken plugin.

    There was a hosting conflict – the plugin was for PHP 5.3, and you are using PHP < 5.3.

    Sadly it is not possible for me to test different versions of WordPress and different versions of PHP. This is a free plugin I work on in my spare time.
