Hello

When a form is failing, error messages display, and are hidden when the focus is on the field. Is it possible to hide the error message on the focusout event ? And generally, is it possible to override script of the plugin ?

Hi!

The majority of client-side interaction is actually handled directly by ACF, including the error messages. I recommend checking out the ACF Javascript API to see if there is anything that could help you hide a field error: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/javascript-api/. This in particular looks like it could work: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/javascript-api/#acf.field-removenotice.

For general scripting, the ACF JavaScript API is your best bet. My plugin adds a few Javascript hooks as well if you’re working with multi-page forms or calculated fields. You can read more about that in the documentation: https://advancedforms.github.io
