Hello, I have a wordpress website and we removed the default admin user for security reasons, but with wordfence I still get emails saying admin was locked because someone tried to enter the wrong password.

is there a way to not get emails for users that don’t exist?

Hi @scepterus

You can find all of the email alert options in the Email Alert Preferences section on the All Options page.

There isn’t a filter that you can use to prevent lock out alerts being sent for particular usernames.

Hi, yeah I looked at those settings before posting. I still want to get the notifications, but only for registered users that are locked out. not for non-existant users, is this possible?

We have had this as a feature request before so you may see this in a future version of Wordfence. If implemented then it will be listed on our changelog page below:
