Also, once the post has been placed in the admin, it looks like the one shown here: https://ibb.co/SspVp5k
If you edit it manually and add a picture, it appears. But why it doesn’t happen automatically I don’t know:(
Hi @vitfreelancer,
Sorry I didn’t see your original request for some reason.
Can you please send the image being shared? And also the image URL?
Does your site have any kind of protection on it which might prevent a 3rd party looking at it?
Thanks,
Here’s a link to the picture. shorturl.at/bmF37
As for means of protection, I don’t think I’ve put any special plugins in.
I can give you access to the admin area if you need to see how it works. If necessary. Just tell me where to send the access, if necessary
Can you tell me why a picture might not be published? I indicated above which picture should be published, but it is not published with the announcement of the article
Hi @vitfreelancer,
You didn’t answer my question. It’s important I know what image you are trying to share. Once I understand this, then I can tell you why the image might not be being published. Because the issue might be with the image itself as oppose to some other technical issue.
For example the image must comply with the following standard:
“You need to make sure that the width AND height of the image is at least 250px AND the file size is greater then 10kb. Please ensure the file type of your image is standard like a jpg or png.”
Thanks,
Unfortunately, you can’t attach an image here. So I’ve just linked above to the image I want to share. The image fits the requirements you describe. But it won’t fit. Above in the branch I have shown how the post posted looks like in the admin. There you can see that it was not placed correctly. If you click “Edit” and add the image manually, it is placed. But it doesn’t happen automatically.
Look at this image: https://ibb.co/SspVp5k This is how the posted article looks in the WordPress admin area
And here’s a link to a picture that didn’t automatically post, but manually it does. https://ibb.co/GW3Zpk5
If the image meets those specifications, which appears to be the case, I am not sure what the issue could be in this instance. You could maybe try again with a different image?
I am sorry, I am out of ideas on this one. With the pro version of the plugin (AutoSocial: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/autosocial/) I can provide more extensive support for individual instances where an image might not have been shared.
Thank you,
