I’m super sorry for the bad experience with Headway. And, while I’m bummed to see see any one-star review come in, I do appreciate you taking the time to share it.
Just out of curiosity, do you happen to know what specifically was not compatible between The Events Calendar and Headway? For example, were you unable to publish events at all? Or was the calendar page missing or poorly formatted?
The reason I ask is because we do our best to make The Events Calendar compatible with as many themes (and other plugins!) as possible. As I’m sure you’re aware, there are so many themes out there, which makes impossible to guarantee perfect integration everywhere. Knowing that you use Headway and having some extra context for what isn’t working could help us figure whether there is something on our end (or Headway’s) that could be done better to ensure they play well together.
It would be awesome if you have the time to elaborate on that here with us so we can check it out. In the meantime, I am sorry The Events Calendar failed to meet your expectations and I hope to earn more stars from you in the future.

Hi, the plugin install correctly, but when post an event, the calendar show with errors, without feature image or excerpt. Now I using “Calendarize It” That work flawlessly.
