    Hi,

I am in the process of building a site that will have multiple menus for different seasons, anniversaries etc. I am building the menus in ‘Simple List’ –

    1. How do I get the dotted underline that you have in your demo for ‘Simple List’ which starts directly under the menu item name to the price? When I tri it puts it underneath bu about 2 lines worth of white space.

    2. This is a feature request – the problem with building several menus (about 20+ menus) is that when adding menu items it easy to put it in the wrong category as many categories are the same name – for example, there might be 3 Tandoori categories and it makes it difficult to know which is the right category to add a specific dish. Is there a way to see only the categories you need while adding the menu items?

    Thanks

    Hi @sonet,

    1. Could you provide a link to your site to check the issue with dotted line you described?

    2. You may add the name of menu in the brackets in the title of menu item/category to differentiate the items . We’ll keep your request in mind though. Thanks

    Hi @motopress

The site is not live yet – however, here is a link to a screenshot of a test page – https://pasteboard.co/IoAT2iR.png note that the udnerline is further down below the menu item.

Also, I noted that when I try and add 2 columns like you do in your simple list demo that the columns are lopsided – meaning that one is further down – they should fit as the titles are not long.

    Thanks

    Hi @sonet,
Could you specify the theme you use on your site so we’ll test it locally?

    Hi @motopress

Yes, absolutely – I’m using Genesis as the Framework with the theme News Pro – I’m setting it up so that I can place multiple menus from our local area on the site. Ideally, how you have it on the demo simple listing is perfect.

I’m happy to provide a login if needed? Keep in mind I’ve only just started this project and am migrating menus from an older site that used a different plugin here: https://www.viewpointsandreviews.com/menu/ by clicking one of the menus on that page you will see how I had it set up using a different menu plugin. However, I wanted to use your plugin on the new site as I liked your layouts for the simple list menu.

I wonder if that is another angle for you guys – maybe create a premium plugin that can facilitate multiple menus for dfferent restaurant pages on the same website without confusing the menus when adding items.

    Thanks

    Hi @sonet,
Thank you for your reply. We would ask you to submit a request to our support team since you use premium and not free template.
As for your suggestion so we will keep this in mind, thanks. However you may also use categories to manage different menus. Or it is possible to add custom taxonomy to group menu items if categories are being used already.
