Double optin

Hello,

Is there a way to setup the “double optin” (for a newsletter submission popup) in this plugin ?
I can’t find any reference to this.

Hi @joy0114,

I’m afraid you’ll have to create “Email Opt-in” and use the inbuilt integration for Mailchimp or similar services which supports double optin.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.
Yes, I already created an “email opt-in” popup (with email fields, GDPR checkbox), and I have an account with MailerLite.
I created an API key with Mailerlite dashboard, I have added an integration for Mailerlite with this API key.
It seems to connect: Hustle show me the email group created on Mailerlite.

But, how to setup a double opt-in ? Is mailerlite in charge of sending the mail which ask to confirm the subscription, or your plugin ?

It’s not very clear for me …

It needs to be enabled on the email platform https://www.mailerlite.com/help/how-to-use-double-opt-in-when-collecting-subscribers#new/enable-double-opt-in-for-api
