I’ve got the free PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce, I use a third party booking system “Amelia” that create a single item in woocommerce with a variable price to book appointment in my calendar. Sometimes, it happens that for some orders I receive 2 invoices for only 1 order. As it the invoicing system was triggered twice. I also receive 2 emails with the 2 invoices whereas I only receive 1 email for the order.
Do you guys have any clue on what happens ? The Amelia support tells me that this is not on their their side. Thank you !

I’m afraid this could be a race condition that Amelia developers are not aware of. We know about a similar issue with some PayPal setups (see), but this is the first time I heard about this one.
That said, you can use the Number Tools to see the invoice logs to confirm if this is what is happening.
Please follow the steps below to do so:
Download, install and active the last release of Number Tools.
Now go to WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Number tools > Document Numbers, select Invoice en click on View button.
Now you will be able to track the invoice number sequence by date and order number.
Thanks for sending that screenshot. You are only seeing the last invoice because probably you have reset the Next invoice number setting. As is described before the number list, it will display “all the document numbers generated since the last reset“.
However, if you do not reset the invoice number again, you should see all the number generated from now on, so you can be aware about when they were created.
As a final advice, I would recommend activating the Log to order notes setting, under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Status tab, so you can also know when the PDF document was created.
